4-[cyclohexylidene(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]phenol, also known as C- HMBCP, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, preparation and safety information:

Nature:
-Appearance: 4-[cyclohexylidene] phenol is a white crystalline solid.
-Melting point: Its melting point is about 190°C.
-Solubility: 4-[cyclohexylidene(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]phenol has certain solubility in organic solvents, such as alcohols, ethers and chlorinated solvents.

Use:
- 4-[cyclohexylidene(4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl]phenol is often used as a photoinitiator in the chemical field for the preparation of photocurable materials.
-Because of its good flame retardant properties, it can also be used to prepare flame retardants and flame retardant materials.
-In addition, the compound is also used in optical materials, coatings, rubber and plastics.

Preparation Method:
